About Adam

»> Adam Polaski is currently a junior journalism major at Ithaca College, with minors in religious studies and Spanish. Raised in Collegeville, PA, just outside of Philadelphia, Adam is pursuing a career in feature writing and journalism.
»> This summer he is dedicated to journalism focusing on gender roles and LGBT issues while working as the assistant blog editor for The Good Men Project and the editorial intern for The Bilerico Project and The New Gay.
»> He is a section editor of Buzzsaw magazine, the alternative publication on campus, for which he reports on and writes about LGBT issues. He has also written for Generocity, Main Line Today and Campus Progress.
»> At Ithaca, Adam is in the Park Scholar program, a highly competitive, merit-based scholarship focusing on devotion to communications, commitment to service and academic excellence.
»> He serves on the boards for the IC chapter of Habitat for Humanity and the United Way Philanthropy Corps, serves as a “Big Brother” for the one-to-one Big Brothers Big Sisters program and enjoys being involved at the college.
